Description
This is a set of resources for the HSC English Extension 1 Module (Worlds of Upheaval) that is 50% of the course. Developed and used by Emma, a recent 2020 graduate (99.45 ATAR) from Pymble Ladies College who got a Band 6 (48/50 mark) in English Extension 1, these will no doubt be a great help for any student taking HSC English Extension studying the texts, Waiting for Godot and Frankenstein. I have vetted this set of notes and picked it for its quality, clarity in explaining concepts and conciseness.
Included is:
- Full marks trial essay demonstrating how to write an essay on 2 prescribed texts and 2 related texts. (Note: in the HSC it is suggested you only need one related text but best to have two for trials). You have 1 hour to write this essay in the exam.
- Detailed Quotes tables and analysis for each text + an additional exemplar essay on each text incorporating the key ideas / analysis
- Thematic concerns and ideas breakdown for each text (based on exam questions)
